Relief for Haiti
All New Hope members were asked to bring a special offering to support the relief effort in Haiti. Anyone who still desires to give can bring their offering for this important cause. This will be an ongoing effort coordinated by The National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc.

Sisterhood Hat Luncheon
The Sisterhood will be hosting a hat Luncheon on Saturday,
March 13, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. in the Educational Center. All
ladies are encouraged to attend and wear their favorite hat.

Youth Department monthly Fellowship
The NHBC Youth Department will be hosting the Fourth
District Young People's Department monthly fellowship on
Saturday, March 20, 2010, from 11:00 am until 1:30 pm and
lunch will be provided. we are asking all youth and adults
to come out and help us make this event a memorable one!
There will be be classes for everyone!

Easter Drama
The Children and Youth Department will travel to the Amite
Baptist Church of Denham Spring on Saturday, March 20, 2010,
to the 2010 Easter Drama entitled, "The Lamb." There will be
a sign up sheet on the table in the vestibule. Only those
who sing up can attend this event. The bus will depart NHBC

Church School Teaching Workshop
The Church Sunday School and Children's Church teachers abns support workers will be having an
8:30 a.m. "Creative Ways of Teaching" workshop on sunday, March 27th, 2010, in the Educational
Center. Brother and Sister Goines, from the Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church (Scenic Highway), will
be the facilitators, Any potentail Christion educator is invited to attend.

Co-ed Softball Game
The Men's Ministry and the Sisterhood Ministry will host a co-ed softball game on Saturday,
March 27, 2010, at the Howell Park Recreation Center located on Winboure Avenure at 10:00 a.m.
there will be two teams ages (12-25) and (26 and older). If you would like to participate on one
of the teams, you may sign up on the sheet on the table in the vestibule.

Transportation for Midweek Prayer
The NHBC Van Ministry will provide transportation for
Midweek Prayer and Bible Study. Members in need of this
service are asked to contact the Church Office by Tuesdays
at 4:00 p.m.

Pastor Leo D. Cyrus, Sr. will be the guest speaker on
Sunday, March 28, 2010 at 3:00pm at St. Mary Baptist Church,
pastored by Reverend Conway Knighton, All members are
encourages to attend and the NHBC Voices of Praise are being
asked to render the music.

Prison Ministry Training Workshop
The Prison Ministry will have its Annual Voluteers Training Workshop on Saturday, April 10,
2010, at the Zoar Baptist Church located at 11848 Hooper Road. All members that would like to be
a part of this ministry are asked to atend the training.
