Family and Friends Awareness Picnic
United To Find What You Can’t See Resource Group is inviting the New Hope Baptist Church family to come out to the First Annual Family and Friends Awareness Picnic on May 19th at the Greenwood Park (in the back) located at 13350 Hwy 19, Baker, LA 70714. The time of this event is from 12:00-6:00 p.m. The purpose is to raise awareness about the rare disease, Myasthenia Gravis, to the Baton Rouge community and surrounding areas. Youth Fashion Extravaganza
Save the date June 1, 2012 @ 6:30 p.m. New Hope’s Youth and Young Adult Department will be sponsoring a fashion extravaganza: “ALL THAT GLITTERS: PAST, PRESENT, FUTURE” held at New Hope. If you are interested in modeling, displaying a talent, or just working behind the scenes, fill out an application located on the table in church vestibule and submit it to Sister Bobette C. Reed or Sister Brandi Wilson. The deadline to submit applications is May 20, 2012. All ages are welcome to serve as models.

Street Witnessing Ministry
The NHBC Street Witnessing Ministry will take to the streets on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month @ 10 a.m. Ministries and members are encouraged to come out and participate as we go out to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ. Participating members are asked to meet at the Educational Center.

Body Gospel, a cardio workout set to uplifting gospel music.
Body Gospel Classes - Thursdays 6:15 pm New Hope Educational Center
Body Gospel® is a workout program created by fitness expert Donna Richardson Joyner that connects the power of faith with your desire to lose weight and get fit. The class includes cardio and muscle toning workouts set to uplifting gospel music. Body Gospel® will give you more energy and help you take care of your temple. Classes are free. Bring a water bottle, towel and mat if you have one.

Praise Moves, the Christian alternative to yoga incorporates strength, balance, posture and flexibility exercises integrated with Scripture verses and Christian music. All ages and fitness levels welcome. Please come out, invite your friends and let’s share in a workout with a purpose.
